This session aims to address a range of anti-racist agendas in terms of their historical and contemporary manifestations in art and art history. The session will unpack the historical making of the Sainsbury Centre, as a site through which the ethos of 'world art' and the ideal of 'world community' is recoverable. What does it mean to bring multiple perspectives on anti-racism into contact with each other?
