Norwich Solarpunk Presents: Imagining the Future- Solarpunk Intro and Writing Workshop

Solarpunk is a new way of envisioning a promising future, neither eu- or dystopian but where we created a world worth living and undid at least some of the damage we have done. Sometimes described as cosy sci-fi and exemplified in the work of Becky Chambers, the problems it seeks to address are not fictional, and neither are the solutions. This session will give an introduction to solarpunk and provide a writing exercise designed to help you open your imagination to positive possible futures. We imagined cities before we built them. To reach a future we can live with, we're going to start by seeing it and sharing that story.
