UEA Sport Awards 2023

The UEA Sport Awards will be taking place on Friday 5th May. The awards are a chance for us to celebrate our achievements in sport and to recognise outstanding contributions both socially, competitively and professionally over the past year.

We hope to have as many clubs & volunteers at the event as possible. Please note this event is for uea+sport membership holders only. 

Here are the important timelines for ticket purchasing and award nominations:

• Friday 3rd March 12pm: tickets on sale, and awards nominations open here
• Sunday 26th March 11:30pm: awards nominations close
• Friday 7th April 12pm: individuals/teams/clubs are informed if they have been shortlisted for any awards and can purchase tickets
• Friday 21st April 3pm: all ticket sales close

Event Details

When: Friday 5th May 2023

Where: LCR, Union House, University of East Anglia, NR4 7TJ

Cost: £40 (plus booking fee, ticket price includes 2 course meal with glass of wine or soft drink)

Arrival Time: 7pm – 7:45pm

Awards Start: 8pm

Dress Code: Formal 

Awards Close: 11pm

Blue Bar After Party: 11pm - 1:30am

Menu Choice

Main Course: Sirloin Steak or Celeriac Steak (vegan), Preserved Lemon & Thyme Braised Potatoes, Rocket Salad, Chimichurri Dressing

Dessert: Bourbon Vanilla & Oreo Cheesecake OR Vegan Brownie and Spring Berries (with Clotted Cream or Vegan Clotted Cream)
