When you book with us, you’re giving back. As a registered charity, the income generated from external events supports student groups, events and activities at uea(su).
Union House, our main hub, is easily accessible from Norwich city centre by car, bus, or on foot – perfect for both local and out-of-town guests. Located on the University of East Anglia’s 360-arce campus, set against a backdrop of plentiful parklands and scenic landscapes. Just a short stroll away, you’ll also find a range of on-site amenities – including bar(su).
From corporate events and private parties to live gigs and outdoor festivals, uea(su) offers a wide range of versatile venues and event spaces. Whether you’re planning your next birthday bash, office Christmas party, charity gala, or a live show at the iconic Nick Rayns LCR, our spaces can be tailored to suit your vision. We also operate the Adrian Flux Waterfront, our sister venue in the city centre – perfect for live music, private parties and smaller-scale celebrations.

The Hive
The Hive is the beating heart of Union House – a space ideal for exhibitions, workshops, activation pop-ups and networking events, just to name a few! Designed with flexibility in mind, this space is easily adaptable to suit your unique event needs. From creative showcases to networking events, The Hive is our most versatile venue space and can be easily transformed to match the style and scale of your occasion.
With removable furniture available at your disposal, you have the freedom to design the space to fit your every event requirement. Whether you are after an open layout for networking or a more interactive set up for workshopping events, The Hive offers a variety of customisable possibilities.

The Exhibition Space is uniquely situated within Union House to showcase innovation and intrigue our student population. With its open, minimalist and most importantly customisable design, this versatile space is perfect for exhibitions, activations and smaller-scale pop-up events – ideal for an intimate yet impactful experience. There is removable furniture at your disposal, light switch systems and a customisable floor plan.

With the ability to expand into Greenroom 2 (as per request - subject to availability), this space is ideal for meetings and small receptions. Equipped with furniture, multiple whiteboards and AV systems, including a built-in PC and digital screens. Greenroom 2 includes the addition of extra space, couches and kitchen facilities.
