What is the Societies Subcommittee?
The Societies Sub-Committee is one of the sub-committees of the UEA50 system. They meet approximately once a month during term-time.
What does the Societies Subcommittee do?
The Societies Sub-Committee decide on new society approvals, and anything related to Societies here at uea(su) that is submitted through the UEA50 system. Society election rules and Committee rules could fall under their remit for example. Societies Committee is made up of one Rep from each Society and the Activities and Opportunities Officer. Members of the Union can attend the sub-committee with relevant business. If you would like to come along, please email su.democracy@uea.ac.uk.
