What is the Education Subcommittee?
The Education Sub-Committee is one of the sub-committees of the UEA50 system. They meet approximately once a month during term-time. Made up of School and Faculty Convenors, Postgraduate Members, the Postgraduate and Undergraduate Education Officers
What does the Education Subcommittee do?
Primarily made up of School and Faculty Convenors, Postgraduate Members, the Postgraduate and Undergraduate Education Officers, the Education Sub-Committee discuss and vote on suggestions submitted by the Student body through the UEA50 system. They meet to discuss any academic issues, and can take these further if needed. They also consult on Union matters when asked. Members of the Union are welcome at the sub-committees with relevant business- guests have the same voting powers as the rest of the sub-committee.
