Welcome to UEA ABACUS
We are ABACUS - Association of British and Chinese University Students, founded in 2022 with the core value of uniting Asian students from all backgrounds and to close the gap between western and eastern cultures.
Regardless of nationality and beliefs, through hosting and organising fun social events all throughout the year, we aim to promote stronger connections within the UEA community, and create long-lasting friendships between participating students.
We hold monthly events and festival celebrations! Including fresher welcome event (e.g. welcome social + bubble tea), game nights, sports, traditional cultural workshops, language buddies and collaborations with lots of different societies! (e.g. karaoke, rollerskating, mahjong, trampolining...).
