Selamat Datang!

Welcome to UEA's Malaysian Society (MSoc). The society was formed to act as a home away from home for fellow Malaysians studying at the University of East Anglia and also is open to everyone who is interested to learn about Malaysia's diverse culture.

In previous years we have held events such as the Meet & Greet and City Tour to welcome new students to Norwich; Deepavali, Chinese New Year, and Hari Raya celebrations with homecooked Malaysian food; Mamak Night and games meetups. We have also competed in the Nottingham Games against other Malaysian Societies in the UK and hosted our own Malaysian Night cultural performances. Be sure to join us to be a part of a network with other Malaysians or learn more about Malaysian culture!

However, this year will be quite different due to restrictions placed on social events. The committee is hard at work planning new virtual activities and keeping updated with the latest best practices to keep you safe at in-person events. Please follow us on our Instagram and Facebook to be updated about our progress!
