UEActive Drop-ins
For those that may not have the time for the club, UEA holds their own badminton sessions, or drop-ins, every Monday and Thursday from 5PM to 6PM. To attend, please go to the sportspark reception and ask for a drop in ticket and whatever day you wish for. The cost is £1. These are for undergraduates and postgrads, with a postgrad only session from 6PM to 7PM on Thursday.
Tasters:
Have a go at Badminton before your join! This years taster sessions have already been held! If you'd like to have a go and see what our club is all about, please message our instagram!
Trials:
Team trials are held at the beginning of the year to give both old and new members a chance to be selected to represent our club in the national BUCS league and the local league.
In addition to club sessions we also hold regular social events throughout the year to provide opportunities for you to get to know your fellow members off the court and make new friends.

Additional Cost of Sport Ranges
The additional cost of sport project, which was created by the Students’ Union, alongside uea+sport, is designed to give prospective members information on the range of costs they may face in joining their chosen sport.
This range should be taken as guidance. For compulsory costs, this price includes uea+sport membership which is £55, and you only need to pay once to join all of our clubs.
When considering additional costs, some clubs may have none and others may have further costs. This is often dependent on the level of competitiveness for the sport you get involved in, and so recreational or socially playing may be cheaper. You may also have equipment which can be used between multiple sports, for example shoes or gum shields.
