UEA Archery offers the opportunity for UEA students/alumni to take part in archery regardless of skill level. We cater to complete beginners, providing all the equipment and fantastic coaches that can help you learn the basics and grow your skills as quickly as you want. We offer fun and relaxed sessions with a sociable atmosphere so everyone can take part and have fun without any pressure on performance.

More experienced archers will also find help from our coach as well as the more competitive side of the club, taking part in both the local league and BUCS competitions. We can provide equipment for all ability levels, but as you progress you may find yourself wishing to purchase your own equipment and develop your shooting skill to a higher level. If that's the case, then between club/committee members and our coach there'll always be someone to point you in the right direction.

Please note that photos may be taken during sessions and used for the club's social media pages. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please contact a member of the committee and inform them of this.

Additional Cost of Sport Ranges

The additional cost of sport project, which was created by the Students’ Union, alongside uea+sport, is designed to give prospective members information on the range of costs they may face in joining their chosen sport.

This range should be taken as guidance. For compulsory costs, this price includes uea+sport membership which is £55, and you only need to pay once to join all of our clubs.

When considering additional costs, some clubs may have none and others may have further costs. This is often dependent on the level of competitiveness for the sport you get involved in, and so recreational or socially playing may be cheaper. You may also have equipment which can be used between multiple sports, for example shoes or gum shields.

For any questions, please ask the sport club for specific further information, or union.opportunities@uea.ac.uk for further information on the project.

Many thanks,

Luke Johnson
