Code of Conduct

Read the uea(su) Code of Conduct and what’s expected from all student members.

misconduct

Students who register with UEA are automatically given a free membership to the Students Union uea(su). We have our own Code of Conduct and series of expectations about how our members behave in SU spaces and groups.

Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct sets out the expected behaviour of all members and affiliated groups when participating in any activity under the name of uea(su) both in-person or online. Note this is currently under review and changes are being made. This will be updated soon.

In instances where a member, or group of members, is alleged to have behaved inappropriately or breached the Code of Conduct during SU activities, uea(su) can investigate this.

If behaviour is reported that does not directly relate to a member’s conduct during SU activities (for instance, they are part of a student group but the behaviour occurred outside of an SU-sanctioned group activity) it should be reported to UEA through their Report and Support platform.
