Join us for Model UN's first crisis of the new semester!
Based on the Interwar Weimar Republic in germany, our Warstein crisis gives you the opportunity to fight for democracy or watch it burn. Participants will assume the roles of politicians, generals and ambassadors as they vye for power in young republic.  If you've ever thought you could navigate a country through turbulent and trying times, this crisis is for you.

A Model UN Crisis is a simulated conflict or event and is a practical way to learn more about politics, history and sometimes psychology. If you've never taken part before, don't worry! Everything is explained beforehand and there will be plenty of support.

This event will be divided over three sessions, with a smaller introductory session on the Friday evening where we will go over what a crisis is and how it works. This will be followed by a short debate allowing you to get a feel for the event and make alliances. If you can't make it, don't worry, this session is not compulsory.

Saturday and Sunday will be sessions lasting for the full day (10am-5pm), this will be the majority of the crisis.

We are aware that this is a particularly senstitive issue and have gone to lengths to ensure we have adequate safeguards in place. We have a zero tolerance policy towards anti-semistism, racism and the glorification of the nazi regime, exact rules and procedures will be expanded upon at the event. If you have any questions, please email Oliver using the email address above.
