DSD- Ice Skate (Rec skate)

Come and join UEA Ice Society in our fortnightly recreational skating session! Everyone is welcome, whether you're a pro skater or have never stepped foot on the ice before. We would love to see both new and old faces.

We meet in the Hive at 5pm by the sofas near the piano and will leave campus at 5.15pm. The journey to Cambridge Ice Rink takes about an hour and a half but once there, we will skate for the same amount of time on the public session. We generally stop at McDonald's on the return back to campus and arrive back at UEA for 11pm.  

If you do not have your own skates, the club has a selection of both figure and hockey skates available to borrow. If you require skates, please ensure you arrive early so you can try some on.  

Don't worry if this is your first time on the ice, there will be many members of the society willing and able to help!
