Ormiston Venture Academy Workshop

This workshop entails small group discussions around mental health and wellbeing at a local school, with students aged between 11-16 years. It presents a good opportunity to create meaningful improvements in MH awareness.

This workshop will be taking place at Ormiston Venture Academy, a local school about 40 minutes from UEA campus, on Friday the 16th of Februrary. 

Our workshops aim to reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health conditions through open conversations. 

Prior to the workshop there will be an opportunity to practice talking through the script and slide with a Headucate member with experience delivering workshops and the others signed up to help deliver the workshop - to ensure you feel confident and comfortable delivering the workshop on the day. 

The workshop will be delivered to a smaller group of 20-30 students of ages ranging from 11-16 years of age. 

Transport to and from the workshop is provided, and will leave UEA campus (outside Congregation Hall) at 11:30am in order for us to arrive at the school and get set up to start the workshop at 1pm.
