It’s World Book Day on Thursday and we really wanted to run a World Book Day week at GeekSoc, but instead we’re celebrating the legally distinct “International Reading Occurrence”! It’s nothing like World Book Day at all, except for all of the ways in which it’s actually quite similar.

Join us back in NewSci 0.08 this Thursday from 18:30 for a book-themed extravaganza of quite impressive proportion! We’ll be hosting a book swap, where you can bring along your own books and swap them for different ones, there’ll be a multi-part book-themed quiz which will certainly be phenomenally exciting, plus we’re encouraging you all to show up dressed as your favourite book characters (only if you want to, of course!)
