Informal Debating Session

Join us for a fun evening where we take part in a variety of public speaking activities. Or if that isn't what you're into, come along anyways and observe and vote for your favourite speeches.

Join us on Mondays in NEWSCI 0.01 for an informal debate on a relevant topic of the day. There will be a loosely structured discussion on a "This House Believes" motion, followed by minigames designed to improve your public speaking, like Just a Minute (JAM) and Balloon debates. 

All are welcome regardless of ability level and latent confidence, we have a laid back and informal atmosphere in which to express yourself and improve your public speaking skills.
