Disability Week Talk - Disability, gender and international partnership

Adam will present the work of DDP, a Norwich-based NGO working with disabled people’s organizations in lower-income countries such as Nepal, from where Rama Dhakal of FWDN will beam in to speak about disability issues there, disabled women’s experiences, and how DPOs are promoting equality, empowerment and inclusion. Rama is President of the Federation of Women with Disability, Nepal, which advocates for the rights of disabled women. Adam is director of Disability and Development Partners, a UK charity working in partnership with disabled people’s organizations to support those who face poverty and exclusion because of disability.
