Climate Change is a disability rights issue. The effects of climate change, from global warming to pollution, are a looming and urgent threat to the disabled community, who are disproportionately vulnerable to climate disasters. From impacts on physical health to mental health, sensory issues to support during a crisis, we'll talk all things climate and disability justice. Jaz Brook, DEV student, SU Environment Officer and National Union of Students Rep at UEA is a climate and social justice specialist. Working across education, industry and policy and working with young people, business leaders, academics and policymakers- Jaz is the Founder and CEO of Youth Climate Solutions. YCS is a social enterprise that creates interdisciplinary, intersectional and systemic solutions that address climate and social justice, supporting a safe and just transition for all.
