Hosted by Dave Shraga - The point of this talk is to raise awareness of the social model of disability, to discuss his personal experience of being disabled in social and professional settings like university, work and recreational spaces. How it feels to interact and how i have managed some of those experiences. Dave Shraga is Chairman for Inclusive Norwich, a charity which campaigns to improve disability access & Inclusion in Norwich, he runs a small business making gloves for wheelchair users, has an undergrad in Global Development and a masters in Research methodology, both from UEA. He has travelled widely. And after a diving accident aged 21, he broke his neck and has a high level spinal injury, which left him paralysed from the chest down, but this has not held him back from living full life.
