Making the invisible visible!

I’m a first-year psychology student, and I understand the challenges of having an invisible disability-whether it’s feeling misunderstood, struggling to access support, or facing unnecessary barriers.

I want to make UEA more accessible for YOU and ensure hidden disabilities are recognised so YOU can achieve your full potential.

Invisible disabilities include neurodivergence, chronic illness, mental health conditions, and more—each with unique challenges. No matter your experience, I will fight for you.

I was Student of the Year in secondary school and won multiple German scholarships, demonstrating my dedication to learning and advocacy. I will bring this same passion to representing you.

My goals:

  • Raising awareness- Organising campaigns, events, and guest speakers to educate non-disabled students and provide valuable information for disabled students.
  • Building connections- Organising inclusive events and peer support groups to foster a sense of community. Collaborating with the university to ensure your concerns are heard and acted upon at every level.
  • Signposting help- Ensuring you have access to the right support, including financial aid like DSA and PIP, as well as UEA's welfare services.
  • Teaching adjustments- Working with students to ensure staff training includes real experiences from those with invisible disabilities so teaching is truly inclusive. Also recognising that some conditions make attending every class difficult, so lecture engagement should be measured in multiple ways.

Vote for me, and together we can make UEA a place where everyone—regardless of their disability—is fully supported and empowered to succeed!
