    • I understand the importance of creating inclusive spaces for all voices, especially those of people of colour.
  • Works at SU - I've cultivated a deep understanding of student concerns and the need for intersectional advocacy

Goals

1. Safe Spaces and Workshops

  • Establish safe spaces and organise workshops specifically tailored to the needs of people of colour
  • To create a community and provide opportunities that are group-specific

2. Normalizing Conversations

  • Openly discuss the challenges we face as people of colour
  • Work collaboratively towards solutions-  be more involved with societies
  • Celebrate our differences while striving for understanding and change.
  • Increase confidence - work on being comfortable to talk about issues we face

3. Empowerment and Representation

  • I will actively encourage women of colour across campus to step into leadership roles, amplify their voices, and drive the change they wish to see.
    • This is also for all POCs - it is important we step up!
  • By empowering each other, we can dismantle barriers and create a more inclusive environment.

Why vote me?

I'm committed to an intersectional approach that uplifts the voices of people of colour. Together, we can be more outspoken, without judgement, and create change that will ensure every individual feels heard and valued without fear of marginalisation.
