Who am I?

Hi, I'm Brandon, my pronouns are He/They and I am a second-year law student.

I am currently the UEA Pride society secretary and have been involved in numerous LGBTQ+ events around the university.

What do I want to do?

My main goals which I would like to achieve in this role is to create more open events for people in the LGBTQ+ community, including some safe space gym events for people who may not feel comfortable in the gym or swimming pool in public settings. As well as creating more gender-neutral toilets in the University so that students do not have to travel to the SU building to use gender neutral bathrooms. As well as this creates a system to reduce misgendering happen inside the University Courses itself. Overall, I would like to make the SU and the university a safe space for all the community.

Why should you vote for me?

I believe I am a good candidate for you as an officer as I am organised, passionate and ready to serve you for this role. Being the secretary of pride has really involved me inside the LGBTQ+ community here at UEA and has allowed me to develop a big network of connections to help me make sure everyone is heard. I have a strong drive to make sure that your voice is heard, and your ideas are considered.
