Welcome to GEMSoc – the Graduate Entry Medicine Society at UEA! ✨

GEMSoc is a supportive, inclusive community created for graduate medical students at UEA. Whether you’re studying Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) or are a graduate on the undergraduate medical programme, our society is here to support your unique journey into medicine.

We understand that graduate students often balance additional commitments, adapt to intense academic demands, and navigate a different path into medical school. GEMSoc provides a friendly academic-social space where shared experiences turn into real connection, support, and community.

Throughout the year, we run a range of events and opportunities, including:

Revision packs, anatomy Q&As, and clinical skills sessions
Peer-assisted learning and talks from GEM graduates
Social events such as paint-and-sip nights, bingo, pub crawls and formals
