UEA British Sign Language Society

Who are we?
We are a collaborative learning society who use reliable external resources to facilitate the learning of British Sign Language (BSL) in a fun and friendly manner. We are a relaxed group who welcome both new and experienced signers. Throughout the year, we host a variety of socials and events, including inviting external guests to deliver sessions.
How much does it cost?
Membership for the year costs £5.
If you have not been to a session before, and would like to give it a go, drop us a message on Instagram or via email to arrange a taster session.
There may be small additional costs associated with some socials and events, but we endeavour to keep these to a minimum.
* Please note: Qualifications are not awarded in the society. *
When do we meet?
We meet every Tuesday from 6-8pm in NewSci 0.07. You are welcome to attend any part of the session, or the session in full. We have tried our best to ensure the environment is as accessible as possible for all - please feel free to message us if you have any specific access needs.
We post regular updates on our Instagram, so please follow us @ueasignsoc.
