Welcome To The UEA Accounting Society!

Welcome to the Accounting Society! A student-led academic society created to build a strong sense of community for students interested in accounting, finance, and business-related careers.

We aim to represent and support students at all stages of their university journey, while working closely with the Students’ Union to ensure members feel supported both academically and professionally. Whether you are studying accounting, considering it as a future career, or simply curious to learn more, everyone is welcome.

As a member, you will have access to a range of opportunities throughout the year, including:

Careers-focused workshops (CVs, applications, and interview preparation)
Guest speaker events with professionals, alumni, and recent graduates
Networking opportunities and collaborations with other societies
Job/Placement Opportunties
Peer mentoring, study support, and shared learning resources
Social events such as quizzes, game nights, summer ball, and relaxed meet-ups

Our goal is to help members develop practical skills, build confidence, and gain exposure to the wide range of career paths within accounting and related fields, all while creating a welcoming and inclusive community. No prior experience is required, and you do not need to be studying accounting to join.

In the long term, we hope to expand our network through collaborations with other universities and professional bodies, providing members with greater recognition, exposure, and career opportunities.
