Give it a Go!

Give it a Go is an awesome events program created just for students like YOU starting your journey at the University of East Anglia. It’s packed with one-off activities that you can dive into at any point during your time here. All activities are beginner-friendly, with zero pressure to commit long-term—just jump in whenever you like. Check the event listings to see if you need to book ahead or if you can simply drop by on the day.

Business Society Trivia Monday - Open to All: 16th February; Blue Bar; The first FREE Business Society Event! This is an open event a run by the blue bar (Trivia Monday) At this event, there’s a chance to meet members of the committee, some new faces as well as the committee too at a UEA run event!

Discussion: Fandom Culture: 16th February; The Hive - Bookable Room 1; Fanfiction and fandom culture are influenced greatly by marginialised groups, often as a form of escapism. Join us in exploring women's roles in shaping these communities.

Escape Across Campus: 20th February; Sportspark; With Escape the Campus, you will be given a chance to prove just how sharp your wits are.

Navigate Norfolk: Cromer: 21st February; Meet at the Mega Bus Stop on campus; Join our Active Campus team for another one of the amazing walks around Norfolk coast!

Trip to the Norwich Museum at the Bridewell: 25th February; Join us on a trip to the Norwich Museum at the Bridewell, this is a great museum if you would like to learn more about Norwich's industrial past or the lives of ordinary people throughout the history of this city. We hope to see you there!
