Other support information
Benefits for students can be complex. Whilst most students are not entitled to receive benefits, in some cases there are exceptions.
turn2us has a great guide to help you understand if you are whether you could be entitled to benefits.
Money Saving Expert has produced a student guide that covers all most everything you can think of when it comes to tips and hacks to save money as a student.
International student support and visas
Advice(su) are unable to provide specific guidance about student visas, as it requires specialist knowledge – if you have any questions about how to keep your visa safe or th implications of taking a break in studies when you have a student visa, please contact the Student Life International team in Student Services.
Faith services
Information about prayer spaces and the campus Faith Centre can be found on myUEA.
Other specialist support
Student Services has a page on myUEA dedicated to different elements of support, including gender transitioning and name changes, what to do if you’ve been summoned to jury duty, or if you’ve had any sort of involvement with the police and don’t know what to do next.
You can find that page on myUEA.
