The Nick Rayns LCR is uea(su)’s largest event space. It is a multi-purpose venue that offers exceptional flexibility for a wide range of events. Perfectly equipped for live music performances, productions, and large-scale events, the LCR easily adapts to your needs. With its customisable layout, the LCR can transform to accommodate preferences for event such as conferences, award ceremonies, charity gala’s, exhibitions and pop-up vendor activations – the possibilities are truly endless!

Now in its 50th year, the LCR has hosted world-renowned bands hosting the likes of U2, Duran Duran, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Iron Maiden and many more. Be part of the legacy of unforgettable memories! Beyond live music, the LCR has also welcomed student fairs, charity events, vintage pop-ups and even the Southern SU Conference.

Designed to meet your unique needs, the LCR is fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, a large venue capacity, customisable layouts, and can be tailored to suit any occasion.

Available for exclusive day and night hire (subject to availability), the LCR offers various seating arrangements, giving you full control to bring your vision to life. Plus, our dedicated and experienced Operations team is on hand to ensure your event runs smoothly from start to finish.
